Local kids have a great opportunity to have fun and stay safe while skateboarding on public Laguna Niguel property. Head over to the Skateboard and Soccer Park, located at 27745 Alicia Parkway. The soccer field has unique turf--synthetic grass over a yielding layer of polypropylene fibers and crumb rubber. It’s a dream to play on, and you can get right back on the field after a rainstorm.
Kids from Laguna Niguel Homes Get an Annual Pass to Skateboard Any Time
The skateboard park is enormous. With 20,000 square feet of concrete, skaters from Laguna Niguel homes can spend hours practicing moves and learning new tricks. Skaters under 18 years old must have a liability waiver signed by their parents. A parent or legal guardian must sign for each minor participant. There are specific areas designed for beginning, intermediate, and expert level skateboarders. BMX and dirt bikes are allowed during special sessions. Parents can rest easy knowing that all participants at the skate park must wear a helmet, elbow and knee pads. Recreation staff supervise at all times.
The skateboard park is open on school days from noon to 9:30 p.m. On weekends, holidays, and vacation days, the park is open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. The entrance fee is $10. Laguna Niguel property owners can get an annual pass for $40. Non-residents may purchase passes for $80 each.
